I went into Ace looking to get help during the great power outage of 2017. I was helped by Ken (who i later discovered owned the location). He went out of his way to make sure i had everything i needed. On the way out i looked at a generator but decided against it. Later i went back and bought it from Michael, after talking with Ken via text most of the evening. Not only did he respond but he came to my home to help me get things hooked up and made sure i had heat for the night. I am pleasantly surprised that in this day and age there is still outstanding customer service. I will be forever a customer of Ken and his Ace hardware. Thanks again to Ken and the staff, we stayed warm last night.
And if you're worried about getting your grass seed or your fertilizer or your calcium chloride to your car there's a bunch of strapping young men more than willing to help.
Remember the hardware store you went to with your parents or you grew up with we're customer service was intentional?
Crowded little store, layout is a maze but the employees are nice and will help you find anything and everything.

Good prices, but where Stones is way above the rest is service, very knowledgeable staff, always VERY helpful. Also always nice and friendly. I go there sometimes just because of the service even if the price may be a little more, it is well worth it.
They have a lot of products in their store. They have an upper level and a lower level in the store also and it is not handicap accessible, they need handicap parking spots designated in front of their store, they need handicap accessible entrance into the store... Some of their prices are higher than their competitors... Some of the employees are very knowledgeable in some of the departments!!!
The various Clerks working the Department's & aisles, know exactly where everything is.
And the clerk's in each department walk you to every item that you're looking for on your project.
